Kathy believes that the originality of the clothing on cloth dolls is the centerpiece of their appeal, and regrets the proliferation of offerings in the market which are re-dressed according to the taste of the sellers, or lack clothing entirely. Like every other aspect of the world of antiques, age and originality really count. Kathy’s dolls reflect their place in history and are documents of the clothing of the times in which they were made. In no other area of antiques is fabric and design in dress more detailed.
